Our Dentists

Dr. Allison shartzer, Dr. Michael Burns, Dr. Maria Mcsoley

Dr. Michael Burns was born and raised in Northern Kentucky. He graduated from Thomas More University suma cum laude in 2013 and the University of Kentucky College of Dentistry at the top of his class in 2017. Upon graduation he worked for the practice founder, Dr. Larry Kluener, as an associate dentist, before purchasing the practice in 2018. Dr. Burns met his wife at Thomas More and they have two sons together. He is an avid sports fan and enjoys cheering on the Cincinnati Bearcats and Bengals. In his free time he enjoys golfing, frisbee golf, fishing, and is a bourbon enthusiast.

Dr. Maria McSoley has always had dentistry in her blood. After graduating from the University of Dayton suma cum laude, she went to the Ohio State University College of Dentistry. After graduating, she began working at Whitewater Dental in 2011 beside her uncle, Dr. Larry Kluener, and her mother, Dr. Mary Rath. They have both since retired, but their legacy lives on through Dr. McSoley. While she is a dedicated and accomplished dentist, she will be the first to tell you her main job is as a mother to three wonderful children and a wife to her husband whom she met at the University of Dayton. With what little free time Dr. McSoley has, she enjoys working out, traveling, boating, and spending time with her family.

It isn’t uncommon that you will hear Dr. Allison Shartzer say becoming a dentist was one of the greatest decisions she has ever made. She sees it as a privilege to build relationships with patients while achieving maximum oral health through science, art, and compassion. Dr. Shartzer is a hometown, west side Cincinnati girl. She graduated from Bellarmine University in 2006, where she played softball. She completed her dental training at the Ohio State University College of Dentistry. Outside of dentistry, Dr. Shartzer is a proud mother to two incredible daughters, wife to a fellow Bellarmine graduate and baseball player, and daughter to the most supportive parents. She enjoys playing pick up games in almost any sport and coaching her girls. She has a love of animals, especially her dogs and horses, although she would tell you she isn’t a cowgirl.
